Welcome to the start of the Sunday Farm updates.
Every week, we’ll send timely information to our members organized into three sections:
1. Farm Happenings
2. Crops Available
3. Tips for Success
Remember: while these updates will be sent weekly, it’s still important to check whiteboard on each visit to see what’s available that day and if there’s limitations on any crop. Let’s dive in!
1. Farm Happenings
The farms soft opening continues this week; we are open for specific hours, in an effort to meet the new households/reconnect with returning members to communicate 2020 orientation information. Visit us Monday the 18th-Friday the 22nd 4-6pm, or Saturday the 23rd 10am-1pm. If you are unable to visit during those hours, reach out to us and we can schedule a brief orientation this week or later. The extended forecast will spur the greens to grow which makes us fairly confident that we should be able to fully open after this week.
2. Crops Available
Unlimited
- Rhubarb
- Chives
- Oregano
- Sorrel
- Lovage
With Limits
- Mixed salad greens (a mild mix of chinese cabbage, bok choy and mizuna)
3.Tips for Success
- A face covering is required while in the wash stand/sign-in area and when in close proximity to others. While solo in the field, members are not required to wear a mask.
- Bring bags or containers to bring home your produce.
- Pull into the farm and park on the wood chips at the edge of the circular driveway.
See you in the field!
