Free Choice Full Season Share

Step into a lush gardenscape to choose the vegetables, herbs and flowers of your choice to enjoy at peak freshness.

As the only free choice share in the North Country, littleGrasse offers unparalleled flexibility for your household to access high-quality produce while supporting farmers dedicated to contributing to the vibrancy and health of our north country soils and communities. Join a unique relationship with our farm where you may visit as often as you like to select items of your choice. These shares are the only way we distribute the vegetables, herbs and flowers grown at littleGrasse and as a result, our shareholders are our only priority. We are dedicated to your success in experiencing this unique share. All available crops will be clearly marked and accessible and the tools for success are provided on site: handwashing station, information boards, harvest knives/scissors, containers, potable water, wash stand and salad spinner.  This page describes how the shares work, the link to sign-up and pricing can be found at the close of the share descriptions.

What it is

Our Free Choice Full Season Share share offers the benefits of having open access to a diverse garden plot without you being responsible for the planning, maintenance, expertise and space required. Shareholders can visit the farm as often as they want, all daylight hours mid May through October.

What the Share is Not

The littleGrasse share is not…

  • …a box of produce delivered to your house or workplace.
  • …items we choose for your household.
  • …a fixed dollar quantity where you only receive a set number of items per week.
  • …a guarantee we can provide every crop we plan for.

How Free Choice Full Season Share works

  • The number of shares must equal the number of adults in your household. Youth 17 and under eat for free.
  • Gain full access to harvest any daylight hours, 7 days a week mid May-October 31. Note: There is not an exact date listed for the start of the share as we are limited by the weather and each season is different. Our goal is to start the share the weekend of May 16th, but that date will be adjusted earlier or later depending on the weather and available crops.
  • Members choose what times and how often to harvest, including multiple times per week if you desire.
    • Consider setting aside an hour every week to make the most of the share and its benefits.
  • We are ready to help! Reach out anytime with questions. A harvest training and orientation is offered at the start of the share with ongoing support as needed. We’ll send out email updates when new crops are available or events are coming up.
  • For the vast majority of crops, you choose how much to harvest on each visit.
